Vancouver, B.C. (PRWEB) July 8, 2010 -- DTM Systems Corporation is pleased to announce that Aaron Alsop has achieved the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential with the Project Management Institute. The Project Management Professional credential recognizes demonstrated knowledge and skill in leading and directing project teams and in delivering project results within the constraints of schedule, budget and resources.

"We are very excited about Aaron's latest achievement with the Project Management Institute.” says Gary Gunderson, VP of Services at DTM Systems. “For DTM Systems, this means a continued evolution in the Project Management Office. Our clients will further benefit from having professionals that ensure solutions meet or exceed core business requirements for long term client success.”

Alsop will continue in his current role as Manager of the Project Management Office, providing Project Management and Business System Analysis to DTM’s clients. Over his eight year career in the information technology field, he has ensured the success of I.T. Managers by tying solutions to return on investment, bottom line revenue, and a clearly outlined set of risks and realistic timelines to communicate to senior management.

In his tenure at DTM Systems, Alsop has been instrumental in developing the Project Management Office, a structured protocol for project implementation, methodologies and guidelines. Aaron holds a Project Management Certification through UBC with a Business Systems Analysis specialization and ITIL Foundation. He attended NAIT for Computer Systems Technology.

To obtain a PMP Certification, an individual must satisfy education and experience requirements, agree to adhere to a professional code of conduct, and pass the PMP Certification Exam.
