Shin specializes in the representation of creditors and debtors in bankruptcy and insolvency matters across all industries, including real estate. As a commercial litigator, Shin is experienced in matters including foreign judgments, misappropriation of trade secrets and copyright infringement. Fluent in Korean and Japanese, Shin speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese and has a thorough understanding of East Asian cultures, business practices and protocol.

Shin obtained her juris doctorate from University of Minnesota and her bachelor’s degree from University of California, Los Angeles. She also studied political science at Yonsei University in Seoul, Korea. Prior to her work with Seyfarth Shaw, she was an associate with K&L Gates in Los Angeles and also served as a judicial extern for the Hon. John R. Tunheim, District Court for the District of Minnesota. She is an active member of the California and New York State Bar Associations.
