Litigation attorney joins Law Offices of James Scott Farrin

Attorney Adrienne Blocker has recently joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin as a Litigation attorney in the Personal Injury Department.

Durham, NC (PRWEB) April 22, 2010 -- Attorney Adrienne Blocker has recently joined the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin as a Litigation attorney in the Personal Injury Department.

Adrienne Blocker worked as a legal secretary and a certified legal assistant for 12 years before receiving her J.D. from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 1998. She received her B.A. in Business Management from Minot State University in Minot, North Dakota in 1990.

Following law school, Adrienne took a position as an attorney at a law firm in Greensboro, North Carolina where she served as the Litigation Group Practice Leader, as well as ethics counsel for the firm.

It was in this position that Adrienne obtained membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum,* a group of attorneys who have won million and multi-million verdicts and settlements on behalf of their clients. Less than 1 percent of U.S. lawyers are members of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.

In December of 2006, Adrienne teamed up with two other attorneys to establish a boutique civil litigation firm in Greensboro. Adrienne was the partner who focused on serious personal injury litigation with additional practice areas in products liability and probate administration. While in that position, she attained certification as a North Carolina Superior Court mediator.

Adrienne Blocker is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar; the U.S. District Court, Middle District of North Carolina and the U.S. District Court, Western District of North Carolina. She is active in the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ), where she serves as the Education Chair of the Auto Torts Section, Co-Regional Coordinator of the Mock Trial Competition, and Member of the Communications Committee. Other professional affiliations include Elon University School of Law (preceptor); Guilford Inn of Court; Million Dollar Advocates Forum; North Carolina Bar Association; American Association for Justice and the American Bar Association.

*Membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum is limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements. Neither the Law Offices of James S. Farrin, P.C., nor Adrienne Blocker, represents that similar results will be achieved in other cases. Each case is different and must be evaluated separately.
