London (PRWEB) July 1, 2010 -- Neil Marshall, World-Check Lead Consultant for UK Government, Regulatory, Enforcement and Intelligence Agencies, will speak at the Global Passenger Operations Summit, to be hosted in London on 29 and 30 June, 2010.
The conference will highlight many of the key issues that concern airline operations today. Mr Marshall will address safety and security intelligence concerns and in particular will discuss specific issues such as the use of technology in passenger profiling; identifying security weaknesses in asset protection; compliance when combining profiling and technological security; managing the conflict of reputational and security risk; and the use of open source intelligence in identifying, disrupting and dismantling terrorist and criminal networks.
The presentation will focus on how the correlation and aggregation of global open source intelligence data is successfully used as an essential tool to help identify and combat the threats posed by money launderers, arms dealers, drugs traffickers, terrorists and other high risk categories.
Mr Marshall is considered an expert in his field and has been closely involved in the development of the World-Check product suite across the government sector. World-Check is now the benchmark in know your customer (KYC) intelligence and assists over 200 government agencies.
At a time when global security measures are heightening and airports are being asked to be more accountable and profitable, combining the needs of passengers whilst meeting new regulations is a tough balancing act. It is now more challenging than ever for Airport Operations Directors to create a high quality passenger experience.
It is at events such as this conference that brings together high level decision makers in the airline industry to network, collaborate and work together to find solutions.
The event will be held at Marriott Heathrow, 29-30 June 2010. Mr Marshall will be speaking on the first day of the conference at 15h35.
