Durham, NC (PRWEB) July 2, 2010 -- A presentation by Matthew Harbin, a North Carolina Workers’ Compensation attorney at the Law Offices of James Scott Farrin, has recently been selected for inclusion in the legal book “Essentials of North Carolina Workers’ Compensation Law,” to be published by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ).
Matthew Harbin will be contributing a chapter titled “The Administrative Forum: Successful Motions Practice Before the Executive Secretary’s Office.”
“My hope was that practitioners in Workers’ Compensation would come away with one or two good motions that they can file on a regular basis for their claims,” said Matthew Harbin, a former Special Deputy Commissioner with the North Carolina Industrial Commission (NCIC).
This is the first published piece Matthew Harbin has produced for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ).
“I believe in supporting the North Carolina Advocates for Justice’s (NCAJ) Continuing Legal Education (CLE) efforts,” he said. “I hope the chapter in the book will be useful to attorneys who practice before the North Carolina Industrial Commission (NCIC).”
