Nicolai Lomov
A proud citizen of the United States, Lomov is an acclaimed interpreter of Beethoven, Chopin, Gershwin, Listz and the great Russian composers. His performances have thrilled audiences from the great concert halls of Moscow and St. Petersburg to Carnegie Hall in New York City. Mr. Lomov’s music features a masterful style, effortless technical ability and a deep intimacy with the composer, from the chromatic counterpoints of Rachmaninov to the rhythmic invention of Gershwin.
A student of the prestigious Mussorgsky State School for Gifted Children and the Moscow Tchaikovsky State Conservatory, Lomov made his formal concert debut at age 15 with the Ekaterinburg Symphony, playing the Tchaikovsky 1st Piano Concerto. Awarded a Ph.D. degree and named head of the Chamber Music department at the prestigious St. Petersburg Conservatory, Lomov was the featured soloist with major orchestras, including the Moscow and St. Petersburg Philharmonics.
He has performed more than sixty solo recitals throughout the East Coast as well as in the Mid-west. His concerts include performances at the Weil Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall at the Kaufman Center in New York City, The Tsai Center at Boston University, the Monadnock “Virtuoso” Piano Recital Series, The Nashua Symphony, The Newton Symphony, The Longy School of Music in Cambridge, and the Federal Reserve Bank's Frank E. Morris Auditorium in Boston.
Todd Feinburg

CLT also limited property taxes with Proposition 2 1/2 in 1980, and rolled back the income tax rate in 2000.
