Previously, .CO domain names were available only at the third level (example.com.co) and under severely restrictive policies. The new .CO domain names will first be made available in April to trademark holders (Sunrise) and then in June for “high commercial value” names” (Landrush). When there is more than one legitimate applicant for a single name, an auction will determine who gets the registration.
