The California Elder Law Center wants senior Alzheimer’s patients to know their new rights under the health care reform bill.
Lakewood, CA (PRWEB) March 29, 2010 -- The California Elder Law Center, which specializes in Medi-Cal, Aid & Attendance programs, Alzheimer’s patient life-care planning and Veterans benefit plans, urges seniors to investigate their new rights under the recently passed health care plan. According to the Alzheimer’s Association, the new plan includes significant provisions to aid the growing Alzheimer’s population in the U.S. “This is a great opportunity for seniors and their families who are facing the high cost of health care due to Alzheimer’s to get the quality insurance coverage they need,” said Attorney at Law Michael McGuire.

This historic health care package, passed Sunday, March 21, 2010, is a complex bill that will undoubtedly impact all Americans including seniors suffering from this debilitating disease. The House passed both the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, which was passed by the Senate in December, and the Reconciliation Act of 2010, which includes changes to the Senate-passed bill.
