After Staten Island residents were notified of a 25-year-old male who attempted to rape a Staten Island woman a few weeks back Decker, Decker, Dito & Internicola, a Staten Island law firm, has decided help in the effort to have this man brought to justice and are offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspected rapist.
(PRWEB) February 3, 2010 -- Earlier this month police were given the report of a sexual predator carrying a knife who attempted to rape a 22-year-old Staten Island woman as she walked to work in the Dongan Hills area. The attacker grabbed the woman from behind, put a knife to her and attempted to drag her into a wooded area. The woman was able to break free and escape the man and managed to flag down a car that was driving by for help. The attack happened at about 7:30 a.m. on January 12 near Four Corners and north Entry roads close to the Staten Island Academy and the Richmond County Country Club. Staten Island residents were not given much notice about the situation involving the attempted rape; in fact, they were alerted about the incident seven days after it happened. Many Staten Island residents may have seen this man and even come in contact with him but would have never known he was a sexual predator because the information had not yet been released.
Have you seen this man? Help the Staten Island community and also collect a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of this rapist suspect |
