A 'Stupid' Republican Woman Responds To Rep. Todd Smith

Tarrant County GOP chair Stephanie Klick speaks out about District 92, Texas Representative Todd Smith's voicemail on her answering machine calling the Republican women in his district "too stupid" to understand his policy position on Voter ID.

Bedford, TX (PRWEB) February 28, 2010 -- Tarrant County GOP chair Stephanie Klick speaks out about Representative Todd Smith's voicemail on her answering machine calling the Republican women in his district "too stupid" to understand his policy position on Voter ID.

In a new video available at Defeat Todd Smith, Klick explains that Smith's constituents were worried that "if Smith did not hurry, Voter ID would die in his committee." Smith's response? Constituents were "dishonest" and "stupid."

Texas Rep Todd Smith Dropped The Ball
Representative Smith "waited five weeks before even having a hearing in the committee on the bill," said Klick. "If there were not sufficient votes to pass Voter ID in Texas, why did the Democrats shout for five days on the House floor to prevent the bill from coming to the floor?"

"He dropped the ball," Klick said.
