The attorneys' offices are on the third floor, while the upper floors are rented to the firm's overseas business clients. Founding partner Mark Goldstein said, "After almost 20 years of law practice here in Pittsburgh, we felt it was time to put down roots in the community."
Goldstein & Associates assist overseas companies in securing E1/E2 treaty trader/investor visas, which allow nonimmigrant entrepreneurs to conduct business in the U.S. "We are thrilled that we can now provide offices to our clients directly, giving them an extra level of support in launching their new ventures," Goldstein said. The legal team at Goldstein and Associates also plans to develop retail space on the ground floor of their Penn Avenue building. "A commuter coffee shop would be ideal for this location, since we are near the bus and train stations," Goldstein explained. He also said that a Korean restaurant would likely be attractive to his firm's clients, many of whom are Asian. The attorney concluded, "In addition to providing a greater level of service to our international business clients, we are thrilled to be helping revitalize downtown Pittsburgh through our investment in this location."
