Firm continues their Safe Rides Program, offering free cab rides on Monday, September 7, 2009 from noon to midnight in NY's Capital District and Utica.
Niskayuna, NY (PRWEB) September 3, 2009 -- Personal injury law firm Martin, Harding & Mazzotti will continue keeping potentially intoxicated drivers off of the road by offering free cab rides on Labor Day. This is the sixth time this year that the firm is donating this program to the community.
Since 1894, The United States has been honoring its working citizens by marking the first Monday of every September a federal holiday. This unofficial "last weekend of summer" is a chance for families to take one last trip, a chance for college kids to have one last party with their friends before heading to school and a chance for many to take a day off of work. Whichever way Capital Region and Utica residents choose to celebrate, they can be assured a safe return home by taking advantage of the Martin, Harding & Mazzotti's Labor Day Free Cab Ride Program.

According to Forbes, drinking in moderation during a holiday can help people relax and de-stress especially in these troubled economic times. The problem is, excessive drinking can lead to bad decisions. Intoxicated Americans may act out with uninhibited behavior, including driving while intoxicated and cause irreparable damage to their neighbors, property, family, friends or themselves.
Yankee Doodle Taxi, Black & White Cab System, Capitaland Taxi, Yellow Cab, Latham Circle Taxi and Spindle City Taxi will all be providing free cab rides on Labor Day.
The program starts at 12:00 PM on Monday, September 7 and runs to midnight the same day. People who have had too much to drink can call 1-800-LAW-1010 to request a taxi. There will be no charge, no obligation and no questions asked.

The Free Cab Ride Program, sponsored by Martin, Harding & Mazzotti, LLP, has dispatched 762 taxis and provided more than 1,500 Capital Region citizens free cab rides in 2009.
