In the Summer 2009 release we have really advanced the core capabilities of the eBillingHub, as well as, we continue to expand our market position as the leader in simplifying legal eBilling

Pittsburgh, PA (PRWEB) June 10, 2009 -- The eBillingHub, the market leading solution that reduces the cost and complexity associated with electronic billing, announced the newest Summer release, with new functionality that addresses the demands of its growing customer base. With this release, eBillingHub continues to deliver highly valuable content to law firms, specifically focusing on its mission of simplifying the process, and reducing the related costs, of law firm electronic billing.

"In the Summer 2009 release we have really advanced the core capabilities of the eBillingHub, as well as, we continue to expand our market position as the leader in simplifying legal eBilling" stated Gabriela Isturiz, CEO of the eBillingHub. "We have addressed a number enhancement requests in this release, the majority of which have come from our customers, and from our partners and leaders in the legal technology market including Elite a Thomson Reuters Business (NYSE: TOC; TSX: TOC), ADERANT and RainMaker Legal."

Key functionality in the eBillingHub Summer release includes:

  • eBilling Editor(R) - The new editor allow modifications of the eBills, real time, even before they are automatically submitted to the eBilling Vendors greatly improving the accuracy of the eBills. Users will now have the ability to easily modify or augment existing information as part of the eBill, such as adding fees and expenses deleting multiple lines of fee(s) or expenses. This powerful feature will be controlled by administrators of the eBillingHub who will be able to assign "Editor's" rights to those users that need to make changes to the eBills.
  • Embedded Vendors Links - Now users can have direct access to other eBilling vendor websites right from the eBillingHub's user interface. This one-click access improves users' productivity and overall visibility into the tracking and management of eBills.
  • Non-profiled emails Digest: - This new feature will aggregate emails that may not be currently profiled by eBillingHub into one email notification to the user. This capability greatly increasing the visibility and management of these exceptions while reducing manual efforts. From this one consolidated email notification, the user can easily follow the link to profile and resolve the issue in the eBillingHub.

eBillingHub continues to experience rapid growth which has been fueled by both new customer acquisitions, 25 new firms since January, as well as an increased amount of eBills law firms are required to send, roughly 15% year over year. A key factor that has contributed to the high rate of new customer acquisitions has been its SaaS (Software as a Service) delivery model.

"More and more we are hearing from customers that our ability to deliver the eBillingHub with minimal upfront costs, limited firm resources to support the implementation as well as minimal resources for ongoing support is a deciding factor in gaining approval. In these economic times a low total cost of ownership and short period to benefit realization are a must have" said Gabriela Isturiz, eBillingHub's CEO.

eBillingHub's SaaS implementation enables law firms to go live on the system in as little as 15 hours, eliminating the hardware purchase requirements of traditionally delivered software or budgeting for any professional services. Now with the eBillingHub law firms can quickly deliver eBills while only paying for what they use on a monthly basis.
