A new blog showcases the weirdest, funniest, and most poignant words of wisdom from some of Chicago's greatest trial lawyers.

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 6, 2008 -- A new blog showcases the weirdest, funniest, and most poignant words of wisdom from some of Chicago's greatest trial lawyers. Every day for thirty days, the Your Witness for 30 Days blog (http://yourwitness.wordpress.com) will feature a quote from the new book Your Witness: Lessons on Cross-Examination and Life from Great Chicago Trial Lawyers (edited by Steven F. Molo and James R. Figliulo). The snippets include bizarre courtroom testimony, advice on how to conduct a successful cross, and descriptions of some of the most brazen attorneys in the arena. At times, these real-life tales of courtroom drama sound more like episodes of Law & Order.

The first such quote was contributed by R. Eugene Pincham, one of Chicago's great courtroom advocates. "Cross-examining a witness who has made a contradictory statement on the witness stand from what he said in a written statement that you have is far better than sex. It lasts longer. There's nothing like it," he declares.

The blog will update daily from now until August 30. Lawyers, aspiring law students, and lovers of all things legal drama are invited to comment on the material with their own views.
