Greenberg Traurig Governmental Affairs Director Elected Vice President of the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council

Tallahassee, Florida (Vocus/PRWEB ) July 7, 2010 -- The international law firm Greenberg Traurig P.A. is pleased to announce that Agustin (Gus) Corbella, Director of the Governmental Affairs Practice in the firm’s Tallahassee office, has been elected Vice President of the Florida Film and Entertainment Advisory Council (FFEAC). Corbella’s appointment took place during FFEAC’s 2nd quarter meeting, held on June 23, 2010, in Jacksonville, Florida.

FFEAC serves as an advisory body to Florida’s Office of Tourism, Trade and Economic Development and to the Governor's Office of Film and Entertainment, providing these offices with industry insight and expertise related to developing, marketing, promoting, and providing services to Florida's entertainment industry.

Corbella has served as a member of the FFEAC for the past three years. Following completion of his term as Vice President, Corbella will be elevated to President of the FFEAC in July 2011.

Corbella’s practice at Greenberg Traurig focuses on legislative branch representation before the Florida Senate and Florida House of Representatives, as well as executive branch representation before the Governor, Cabinet and state agencies. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig in 2004, Corbella served as chief of staff of the Florida Senate, as well as staff director for the majority offices of both the Florida Senate and House of Representatives. His role as chief advisor to the legislature's most prominent leaders provided him with a broad knowledge of the process and issues before the Florida Legislature.
