Mr. Demas represented the children of Mr. and Mrs. Hueso, husband and wife, who were killed in an auto accident when their vehicle collided with a big rig truck operated by Diestel Turkey Ranch, a local family business and one of the biggest employers in Tuolumne County. The initial investigation by the California Highway Patrol found Mr. Hueso at fault for the accident.
