Aron has studied law at major universities worldwide but has recently established his private law practice in his hometown communities of Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo. Combining his education and skills from practicing in larger communities, he proudly brings his high level of experience to California’s Central Coast.

Aron received his undergraduate degree at UC Santa Barbara and went on to law school at Duke University. After law school, he served as a Deputy District Attorney in the San Francisco Bay Area where he honed his jury trial skills in the process of prosecuting hundreds of criminal cases before working at a large multinational law firm in NYC and later serving as a visiting professor of law at the University of Virginia.
In addition to his domestic studies, while at Duke University, Aron was selected to serve as a visiting scholar at Bond University in Australia where he researched at the Center for Negotiation and International Dispute Resolution. His international experience was further bolstered by his valuable stint on a scholarly exchange at Cambridge University in Cambridge, England.
Recently, Aron has established his private practice in his native Central Coast community and specializes in a range of diverse legal fields such as Business Law, Criminal and DUI defense, Civil Litigation (personal injury, wrongful death, etc) and Family Law. William M. Aron is a Santa Barbara lawyer, graduate from the Duke University School of Law, and an active member of the California Bar. While at Duke University, Mr. Aron also earned an M.A. in Psychology, authoring a paper examining the efficacy of polygraph examinations in a criminal law context.
