Enhancements to Document Management System Software Allows for Easy Integration
Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) June 1, 2010 -- ICM Document Solutions (ICM -- www.icmdocs.com) today announced the release of ViewCenter 2.6.1, an upgrade to its core Document Management software product. Highlights of the point release include easy deployment and improved integration with popular business applications.
ViewCenter is a web-based document management system for searching, retrieving, and viewing documents online. The 2.6.1 release features ICM’s newest desktop file-transferring application, an engineering workflow, and back-end improvements for making what the Association for Information and Imaging Management (AIIM), calls the “digital landfill” of electronic documents much easier to manage.
The point release was based on the demand for enabling new business processes across multiple existing line-of-business applications through integration paths such as web services and workflow tools. ViewCenter 2.6.1 is available as an upgrade for ICM’s installed base and as a new product offering.

“What this means to the customer is whether you have SharePoint or other enterprise software, ViewCenter can play in the sandbox with just a simple Application Programming Interface (API) plug-in,” Prevallet stated.
