Haynes and Boone Deploys IntApp Wall Builder to Centralize Firm Confidentiality Management, Ethical Screening and Compliance Tracking

Haynes and Boone, LLP, an international corporate law firm with almost 550 attorneys, has successfully implemented IntApp Wall Builder to manage internal confidentiality controls, enforce ethical screens and track compliance.

Palo Alto, Calif. (PRWEB) June 14, 2010 -- IntApp, Inc., the leading provider of risk management software for the legal industry, today announced that Haynes and Boone, LLP, an international corporate law firm with almost 550 attorneys, has successfully implemented IntApp Wall Builder to manage internal confidentiality controls, enforce ethical screens and track compliance.

Wall Builder is a web-based confidentiality management application that enables organizations to centrally control, monitor and report on user access permissions across multiple applications, including document management, accounting, portal, CRM, time entry and records management systems. It also automates notifications to individuals subject to specific policies and tracks acknowledgments for compliance purposes.

“We deployed IntApp Wall Builder for confidentiality management to enhance our risk mitigation measures and address evolving client requirements,” said Richard Clark, director of conflicts and records, Haynes and Boone, LLP. “We considered our options and selected IntApp because they’re the clear market leader. The firm needed a product to integrate with, rather than replace, our existing processes and software, including our Autonomy iManage and Elite conflicts systems.”

Law firms must closely manage and track internal access to client information for many reasons. These include waiver-driven ethical screens, client outside counsel guidelines, and compliance with regulations such as the HITECH Act, ITAR and several data privacy laws.

Wall Builder replaces distributed, ad hoc approaches to information security with a centralized system that provides organizations with unprecedented capability and control over user access to specific applications, documents and other information. It’s the only product for law firms that delivers real-time enforcement while updating access rights in response to attorney behavior to ensure that policies are kept up to date automatically.

“IntApp Wall Builder provides a straightforward way for our firm to centrally and rigorously manage internal confidentiality policies and enforcement controls,” said Raelynn Klafke, IT director, Haynes and Boone, LLP. “IntApp provides us with outstanding technology, unmatched risk management expertise and excellent, ongoing client support.”

“We’re excited to announce Haynes and Boone as another member of our growing Wall Builder client community,” said Pat Archbold, head of IntApp's Risk Practice Group. “By adoption Wall Builder, the firm can attest to taking the strongest measures available to manage confidentiality policies and address client confidentiality requirements.”
