Working closely with both approved Electronic Recording Delivery System (ERDS) providers in California, CeRTNA and SECURE, as well as the county recorders, SPL is the first authorized submitter to offer access to both systems to its customers.
Los Angeles, CA (PRWEB) May 2, 2010 -- SPL takes pleasure in announcing that after having much of its staff certified by the California Department of Justice, it has become the first document recording service agency to record live documents on both Electronic Recording Delivery Systems (ERDS) in the State of California.
Assembly Bill 578 was chaptered and became effective in 2004. In 2007 the Department of Justice implemented regulations which determined the requirements for implementing an authorized ERDS system. Two ERDS systems were quickly developed and have been in the forefront of electronic recordings in California – CeRTNA and SECURE. In September 2009 both portals received system certifications from the Department of Justice, and both portals performed their first live recordings in December 2009.
