Seasoned Litigator James Hanlon Joins Novus Law LLC

Hanlon Brings More Than Two Decades of Legal Experience with AmLaw 100 Firms

Mr. Hanlon has a long and distinguished legal career and focused his complex commercial litigation practice on financial litigation matters. He was an Equity Partner at Katten Muchin Zavis (now Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP) where he practiced for 18 years before moving to Howrey LLP, where he was an Equity Partner for six years in the firm’s Global Litigation Group. Mr. Hanlon has extensive experience representing members of the securities industry in litigation and regulatory matters and is a former Chair of the Chicago Bar Association’s Securities Law Committee. He has also handled a variety of antitrust and corporate control matters, including the representation of participants in proxy fights, tender offer litigation, and other commercial litigation matters.
