Pasadena Family Law Attorney Accepts Notable Position

Patrick Baghdaserians, an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, a Pasadena-based divorce and family law firm, receives new position as Court Appointed Referee.

Pasadena, CA (PRWEB) May 8, 2010 -- Mr. Baghdaserians was appointed as a Court Appointed Referee by suggestion from other family law attorneys in the Pasadena area.

In his new position, Mr. Baghdaserians will be in charge of distributing property in a highly contested divorce proceeding. His position grants him general jurisdiction by the court, meaning his decision is final as long as it does not abuse discretion.

According to Mr. Baghdaserians, "In family law, the judicial officer acts as judge, jury and executioner. When working a case, it is essential to consider Judicial Perspective. Such perception can provide vital insight and guidance in formulating a proper litigation plan."

Mr. Baghdaserians new position involves reviewing all relevant pleadings, conduct independent investigation, meet with parties, and engage in multiple in person conferences.

"It helps provide a young lawyer with the unique experience of playing the rule of fact finder and judicial officer," said Baghdaserians.

Mr. Baghdaserians attended Southwestern University School of Law, and currently is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Donald P. Schweitzer, a family law firm located in Pasadena, CA.
