Nadler Joins Law Offices of Ruthann P. Lacey, P.C., Tucker Firm Only One in Georgia with Two Certified Elder Law Attorneys

The Law Offices of Ruthann P. Lacey, P.C., announced today the addition of attorney Heather Durham Nadler to their staff. Nadler will be joining as a Senior Associate and will concentrate her legal work in the areas of Special Needs Law, Elder Law and Estate Planning. Heather's addition to the staff is significant in that it makes the Tucker firm the only one in Georgia with two attorneys certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as Elder Law Attorneys.

Nadler will be joining as a Senior Associate and will concentrate her legal work in the areas of Special Needs Law, Elder Law and Estate Planning.

Heather's addition to the staff is significant in that it makes the firm the only one in Georgia with two attorneys certified by the National Elder Law Foundation as Elder Law Attorneys.

Heather brings nine years experience practicing law in the fields of family law, real estate, estate planning and litigation.

She is a member of the Board of Directors and Immediate Past Chair of the Elder Law Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. She is also a member of the Academy of Special Needs Planners, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the DeKalb County Bar Association, the Elder Law Section of the Cobb County Bar Association and the Estate Planning and Probate Section of the Atlanta Bar Association. Heather also serves on the Editorial Board of The Mortmain, the newsletter of the Estate Planning Section of the Atlanta Bar Association.

In 2009, Heather was selected by her peers and Atlanta Magazine as a "Rising Star" in the field of Elder Law. Articles authored by Heather on the topics of Elder Law and Special Needs Law have been published in the Georgia Bar Journal and Atlanta Lawyer magazine.

Heather earned a B.S. in International Business with concentrations in Spanish and Management Information Systems from Auburn University and a J.D. from Tulane University School of Law.
