The current economic situation has made many professionals realise that it is simply not a smart decision to spend additional time out of the office.

London, UK (PRWEB) May 4, 2010 -- Firebrand Training has completed the move of its global headquarters to prestigious Regent Street in central London. The newly refurbished offices symbolise almost a decade of year-on-year growth for the leaders in Accelerated Learning. Firebrand has now provided IT and project management training to more than 20,000 students.

In a market which saw many in the industry falter, 2009 was an exciting year for Firebrand Training. A headquarters to serve the Nordic countries was opened in Denmark, which has been complemented by a training centre in Sweden. At a time when others were in fear of economic meltdown, Firebrand refused to use this as an excuse. The new subsidiary is growing at a phenomenal rate, and has already delivered more than £1m of training.

Back in the UK, a state-of-the-art training centre was unveiled last year at Wyboston Lakes, Bedfordshire. This has already welcomed more than 3,500 students eager to make use of Firebrand’s unique training methodology. The centre offers a distraction-free environment, where students can fully immerse themselves into the course.

Firebrand is able to offer Accelerated Learning thanks to its original lecture / lab / review process. Each day of a course is split into three parts, meaning that students will not be subjected to ‘death by PowerPoint.’ Learning is hands-on, and students have the opportunity to discuss and ask questions about every aspect of the course.

Robert Chapman, CEO, explains: “Moving into the new office has been great for everyone involved, and represents a fantastic 12 months for Firebrand. Demand for Accelerated Learning has exceeded all expectations – all except for our own. The current economic situation has made many professionals realise that it is simply not a smart decision to spend additional time out of the office.

“Our most popular courses include SQL Server, Microsoft MCSE and Microsoft SharePoint. We are able to offer guaranteed certification in all of these courses quicker than anyone else. PRINCE2 has helped us bridge the gap between IT and project management, and has allowed many more to experience training the Firebrand way.”

The business has been strengthened further with the appointment of Paul Dillenburg as Country Manager for Germany. Paul brings with him a wide range of experience in IT, sales and marketing. Most recently he was a member of the board of directors for the online media enterprise Allesklar.com AG, where he successfully grew their business over a nine-year period.

Robert concludes: “We will not stop here. We are on course for meeting our goal of becoming a £100m business. Our staff members are driven towards achieving this, and we want to take our students on this journey with us.

“We are continuing to apply the Firebrand methodology to more and more courses. Our most recent addition is the Microsoft Exchange 2010 course, for which certification can be achieved in only six days – compared to two weeks offered by others.”

Firebrand Training was founded by Robert Chapman and Stefano Capaldo in summer 2001 as The Training Camp. Stefano was a former student at The Training Camp US and rated the company’s approach so highly that he decided to launch a programme of courses in the UK. The organisation has been recognised by Microsoft as a Gold Partner for Learning Solutions (MCPLS). The company was re-launched as Firebrand Training in October 2007.

Firebrand Training offers a range of courses covering all major vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, Oracle, Sun and Novell, as well as specialist certifications in the areas of security, business intelligence, project and business process management.
