New Memoir Recalls Author’s Harrowing Experiences as Murder Suspect in Oklahoma Forty Years ago

In the newly released gripping real-life Memoir: "Bobby’s Trials" by Bobby Wilson, J.D. the retired lawyer explains how he cleared his name after ten years of court battles which included his being accused of murdering his mother and sister in 1963.

Phoenix (PRWEB) April 23, 2010 -- Bobby’s Trials, a memoir by Bobby Wilson, J.D., shares the author’s experiences as a teenager charged with murdering his mother and sister in cold blood and the 10-year court battle to clear his name.

For the first time in more than 40 years, Wilson breaks his silence on the presumed murder of his family and offers readers a glimpse of his perspective on the tragic events that led to his trial. Beginning with an account of his early childhood, Wilson reveals what life was like for him growing up as an Oklahoma farm boy with a mother who suffered debilitating depression as well as fits of paranoiac rage. In the early morning hours of June 19, 1963, Wilson says he was awoken by his mother. She held a loaded gun to his head and had what he describes as a crazy yet familiar look in her eyes. Terrified of what might happen, he had no idea that his life was about to change forever.

“It was an unsolved murder mystery that only I could solve,” Wilson says. “The case was widely covered by the Oklahoma print media in 1963 but the actual events remained unknown until now.”

Wilson describes overcoming two murder cases and clinical amnesia to later become a lawyer, husband and father. Intended to inform and inspire, Wilson contends that his experience can offer an example to anyone facing challenges that seem insurmountable.
