We have been working with Scottish law firms to ensure we cover the whole of Scotland |
Statistics from 2008/09 show that an estimated 104,000 people in Scotland believed they were suffering from a work-related illness and, during the same period, an estimated 3.1 million working days were lost in Scotland due to workplace injury and work-related ill health. In 2008, 270 people were killed on Scotland’s roads and 15,306 were injured.
Visitors to the National Accident Helpline site can view information for Scotland covering details of common types of accident claims, how to make a claim, likely compensation amounts and how the no win no fee process works. After discussing their accident or injury with a National Accident Helpline advisor, an enquirer will be referred to a personal injury lawyer in Scotland who will advise on how the claim can proceed.
The service can be used online at www.national-accident-helpline.co.uk/scotland or by calling 0800 279 8263.
