I am grateful to the Greenberg Traurig Fellowship Foundation for the opportunity to be involved with this important organization.
PAIR is a nationally recognized pro bono model that works to secure safety and freedom for asylum-seekers who have fled from persecution worldwide. It also promotes the rights of immigrants unjustly detained.

Andrea Saenz, an Equal Justice Works Fellow sponsored by the Greenberg Traurig Fellowship Foundation, has worked at PAIR since 2008. Saenz represents women and parents in immigration detention and provides assistance and regional advocacy on related family law and family unification issues.

"My work at PAIR is an eye-opening experience that has allowed me a firsthand look at immigration issues and the individuals and families behind them,” said Saenz. "I am grateful to the Greenberg Traurig Fellowship Foundation for the opportunity to be involved with this important organization.”

Greenberg Traurig is the largest provider of fellowships to Equal Justice Works, which offers matching funds for the fellowships, as well as assistance in the selection and training of the fellows. Since 1998, Greenberg Traurig has sponsored, in whole or in part, almost 100 fellows. The fellowships offer salary and loan repayment assistance and training and leadership development programs.

"We established the Greenberg Traurig Fellowship Foundation to provide public interest non-profit organizations with the services of attorneys, like Andrea, who are dedicated to representing vulnerable populations,” said Holly Skolnick, president and founder of the Greenberg Traurig Fellowship Foundation. "We are proud of Andrea's accomplishments.”
