Groove Evolution Music Fest's NYC Party "Fantastic Voyage" rocks the boat with a Good Times-Gilligan's Island Theme, Live Rock Bands, Singers, Dancers, Artists, Food and drinks all while benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC. New York, NY (PRWEB) April 4, 2010 -- Groove Evolution Music (GEM) Festival (www.grooveevolutionfest.com), benefits Big Brothers Big Sisters of New York City with their Manhattan boat party bash, “Fantastic Voyage.” The fundraising music festival is scheduled for Saturday, May 08, 2010, 6:30pm to 11pm aboard the Star of Palm Beach, docked at Pier 40 near W. Houston Street and West Side Highway in New York City.

GEM chose a buoyant Gilligan’s Island/Good Times retro TV theme for the event which boasts a variety of music and comedy performers and a live art installation. Artists performing at Fantastic Voyage are vocalist, Alice Tan Ridley; comedian and producer of “Dance Your Ass Off”, Kate Rigg; performance artist, The Maine Attraction; bands, Sky D and LeGrange Evolution and Eden Star, hip hop artist, Malachi Rivers; body painting artist, Dani Fonseca, and music by DJ Structure. Party-goers are invited to dress as the television shows’ characters or outfits befitting the 70’s at sea. There will be live music and a DJ for them to dance to throughout the night.

The boys and I are excited to play aboard Fantastic Voyage. It’ll be a blast dressing up for the theme and supporting an organization that has been helping youth for so many years!
