360networks Launches Orca Wave BlueWater Software

Orca Wave announced that 360networks upgraded its wholesale VoIP operations by launching Orca Wave's BlueWater voice routing management software.

360networks is a service enabler of VoIP, transport, and IP services on its wholly owned fiber optic backbone, spanning over 17,000 miles to over 75 tier 1 to 4 markets throughout the western United States. 360networks turned to Orca Wave to enhance its OCN-LATA and NPA-NXX based routing and monitoring capabilities, carrier rating tools, code management, and detailed reporting, to further streamline its Wholesale VoIP operations. Orca Wave completed implementation of its BlueWater software solution in January, 2010.

Domestic routing via Orca Wave takes place from the NPA-NXX level to the 10th digit, allowing customers to minimize costs and improve profit.
