HDcctv-based systems transmit HDTV signals digitally over conventional CCTV media without packetization and without any perceivable compression latency. Standards are a key to unlocking the market potential of this new product category. The HDcctv Alliance has partnered with SMPTE to reference the family of broadcast video interfaces known as HD-SDI to create a derivative standard to enable plug-and-play security systems and equipment that deliver high-resolution, high-definition (HD) surveillance video with no transmission delays, no image artifacts from transmission, with the highest possible signal integrity.

At ISC West, Las Vegas, March 24-26, fifteen HDcctv Alliance members are demonstrating interoperable HDcctv cameras, DVRs, and monitors planned for market shortly after the Alliance’s compliance certification standards have been finalized.

At the HDcctv Alliance Booth 42001 attendees can view demonstrations of Interoperable HDcctv Alliance Members’ products including:

  • Zero Latency PTZ Cameras
