Neither Sava, Grunstein nor Forman make payments to Government as part of settlement; case is now dismissed. SavaSeniorCare Administrative Services, LLC (“Sava”), Murray Forman and Leonard Grunstein (collectively “Sava Group”) today announced the settlement and dismissal by the government of a civil lawsuit brought by the US Attorney’s office in Boston captioned United States of America et al., ex. rel. Adam Resnick v. Omnicare, Schron, et al., Civ. No. 06-10149 (D. Mass), that also named them as Defendants.
Atlanta, GA (PRWEB) February 26, 2010 -- SavaSeniorCare Administrative Services, LLC (“Sava”), Murray Forman and Leonard Grunstein (collectively “Sava Group”) today announced the settlement and dismissal by the government of a civil lawsuit brought by the US Attorney’s office in Boston captioned United States of America et al., ex. rel. Adam Resnick v. Omnicare, Schron, et al., Civ. No. 06-10149 (D. Mass), that also named them as Defendants.
The settlement was reached shortly after Sava, Mr. Grunstein and Mr. Forman filed a comprehensive motion to dismiss the Government’s entire case against them for failure to state any legal or factual claim. The Government did not answer the motion and the complaint was dismissed. A settlement was reached shortly thereafter with all the defendants. The Settlement Agreement states and acknowledges that Sava, Mr. Grunstein and Mr. Forman deny the contentions and allegations of the Government, and deny that any of them engaged in any wrongful conduct.
No payment was made to the Government by Sava, Mr. Forman or Mr. Grunstein. The Settlement Agreement provides for the case against the Sava Group to be dismissed with prejudice.
The Sava Group is pleased that this result was expeditiously achieved.
