Billings, MT (PRWEB) February 12, 2010 -- The Heenan Law Firm, a Montana consumer protection law firm, filed a lawsuit yesterday on behalf of a Montana farm family against multinational wind developer Sequoia Energy US. (Ramages v. Sequoia Energy US Inc., Cause No. DV-10-02 Montana Fourteenth Judicial District Court.) The lawsuit alleges that Sequoia took advantage of the farmers' honesty when, after purchasing and receiving their wind data assets, the company reneged on its promises and refused to pay them the agreed $137,500. The lawsuit alleges an internal company email which was mistakenly sent to the farmers acknowledged that the company owed the money and had "screwed" them in not paying. The complaint alleges fraud and deception on Sequoia's part and seeks unspecified actual and punitive damages.
