The 3rd biennial conference for public works, parks and recreation, designers, engineers and river scientist will take place May 24-27, 2010 in Salida, CO.
Takoma Park, MD (PRWEB) February 5, 2010 -- Invited headliners are the architects of tomorrow’s new business models. Auden Schendler, Executive Director of Sustainability for Aspen Ski Mountain will advise what he believes is necessary to implement climate solutions in the real world.
“We look forward to learning about Auden’s experiences at one of the world’s storied resorts, and how they apply to river parks and courses,” states Risa Shimoda, conference Co-Chair. "Designing whitewater courses involves a variety of considerations, the least sexy of which is whether or not they will work as designed and serve outdoor enthusiasts decades after their installation."
