About Ronald McDonald House Charities
The idea behind Ronald McDonald House is based on a simple theme: providing a “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. At a time that is often painful for children and their anxious parents and siblings, the House offers a warm and comforting setting where family members can be “at home” together. Each generous donation to RMHC provides families the most important commodity of all: time. By eliminating cooking, cleaning and travel time, Ronald McDonald House allows families to gain an additional four hours with their children every day.
