Haynes and Boone Advises Shell in Sale of Central American Downstream Businesses

Haynes and Boone, LLP announces completion of the sale of Shell's downstream businesses, including supply, distribution and marketing businesses, in Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras to affiliates of the Central American conglomerate, Grupo Terra.

Houston (Vocus/PRWEB ) November 13, 2009 -- Haynes and Boone, LLP announces completion of the sale of Shell's downstream businesses, including supply, distribution and marketing businesses, in Nicaragua, Guatemala and Honduras to affiliates of the Central American conglomerate, Grupo Terra. The purchase price for the combined transactions, which closed Oct. 30, was not disclosed.

Shell also signed an agreement with an affiliate of Grupo Terra for the sale of Shell's downstream businesses in El Salvador. That sale is subject to regulatory approval.
