Mother-in-law sued for wrongful death of grandchild.
Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 27, 2009 -- A wrongful death lawsuit was filed today in Houston by Rochelle Vegenas charging her mother-in-law with neglect and gross negligence over the accidental drowning of her 2 year old son.
According to the lawsuit, Logan Venegas was being cared for by his grandmother when he wandered off and drowned in a drainage ditch. The Houston Police Department attempted a rescue but the toddler could not be saved. "I want there to be some sort of accountability for what happened to my son," Rochelle said. The lawsuit is filed under Cause No 2009-54698 in the 281st District Court, Harris County, Texas.
