Mechanic’s Accident Claims Brought to Medical Claims and Personal Injury Solicitors Pattinson & Brewer Receive �30,000 Compensation

Renault has paid an employee £30,000 compensation following accident claims stemming from three work accidents. Personal injury solicitors Pattinson & Brewer, which offers services in many other fields including medical claims, recovered the compensation payment for the employee.

The claims, brought by a Renault mechanic, came following three injuries at work to the mechanic’s knee (Clerkenwell & Shoreditch County Court – United Kingdom, claim no. 6EC02527).

Ricky Bratton, aged 39, was a public lighting attendant for Colas Limited. In March 2007, he was repairing and maintaining street lighting on the A22, Hailsham, East Sussex. He was walking to the rear of his van when suddenly he was struck by a Rover car driven at high speed.

The car pinned me against my van. The driver then drove off although my colleague and I caught up with him down the road. I was taken to Eastbourne hospital where I was X-rayed. I suffered bruising to the left side of the body, hand, knee, back, hip and ribs. I was off work for almost 3 weeks.

This was a horrifying accident and the consequences could have been much more serious. The insurers initially denied liability and I am pleased that Mr Bratton has now received the full compensation to which he is entitled.

Mr Bratton says:
