The company also announced plans to hire additional Senior Flight Instructors / Pilots for its growing Executive Jet Delivery operation and is also focusing recruitment efforts on identifying Candidates for High Performance and Cabin Class aircraft who possess certain critical training skills which are deemed essential to address our increasingly complex aircraft training and Jet Delivery responsibilities across the globe.

"Mr. Hebert comes to us with 19 years experience in Advanced Flight Training, over 10,000 flight hours and several years incident free flying. Mr. Herbert started his career in the USAF where he flew the T-37, T-38, C-130 and the T-1 and served as a military Intelligence briefer. Since that time Mr. Herbert has been flying aircraft stemming from the T-37, T-38, T-1, Beechjet 400A, Falcon 50, Gulfstream III, Boeing 737-800, and DC-8 to name a few. Mr. Herbert is highly regarded as an innovator and industry leader with a proven record of accomplishments. His skills, expertise and leadership will benefit us greatly and will enhance our growing global presence."
Our success is largely due to the quality of our Senior Flight Instructors, says Montalte. The average age of an Instructor varies from 55 to 58 years young, averaging over 9,000 to 20,000 plus hours logged flight time and 2,000 to 8,000 hours of logged instrument time in a wide variety of aircraft.
With the addition of Mr. Hebert, AFIT now has 47 trained and licensed Senior Instructors located across the United States servicing over a dozen countries specializing in High Performance aircraft and Executive Jet delivery.
