Philadelphia, PA (PRWEB) April 29, 2009 -- Pennsylvania Senator Arlen Specter's switching of party affiliation from Republican to Democrat has brightened the chances for the long-awaited Comprehensive Immigration Reform (CIR) legislation, feels Philadelphia-based immigration attorney Morley J. Nair.
"This has put the Democratic party closer to the votes needed to overcome a possible Republican filibuster and pass this important legislation," Attorney Nair said. "With the possible confirmation of a Democratic victory in Minnesota's long-disputed election, the party will have the needed 60 votes which would also help President Obama's legislative agenda as a whole."

Lately, there has been a lot of interesting discussion across the media on how immigrants, both skilled and unskilled, help the country's economy. It has been argued that immigrant workers are vital for the U.S. to continue to lead and succeed in the new era of technological advances and innovation. Immigrants are seen as an essential element to the country's speedy recovery from recession.
The Law Offices of Morley J. Nair, the immigration law firm founded by Attorney Nair, has been in existence for about 12 years, and has a track record of processing hundreds of permanent residence (popularly known as "Green Card") cases and thousands of H-1B visa petitions, on behalf of both corporate and individual clients all over the US.
Attorney Nair pointed out that hopes about immigration reforms have soared with the historic election of President Obama. Coupled with this, there was a recent announcement by the nation's top two labor unions backing the legalization of the nation's millions of undocumented immigrants. "Let us all be optimistic about the much-awaited immigration reform legislation becoming a reality sooner than later," he concluded.
