Las Vegas Attorney Kristan Lehtinen Panelist on Presentation of Prominent International Lawyers at ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting

Kristan E. Lehtinen, Esq. partner with Lovaas & Lehtinen, P.C. participated as a panelist for the program The Nuts and Bolts of Cross Border Negotiations presented during the ABA Business Law Section Spring Meeting in Vancouver, B.C., Canada on Saturday April 18, 2009. Lehtinen participated as the U.S.-Canada panelist during the presentation.

The panel discussion featured prominent speakers on the topics of modification of negotiation techniques in different continents, the effect of globalization, and differences in the approach of negotiations conditioned by the culture of specific regions around the globe. The large audience present for the two-hour presentation received invaluable tips, techniques and strategies in the panelists' areas of international expertise.

About Kristan E. Lehtinen:
Kristan E. Lehtinen is an immigrant to the United States from Ontario, Canada, having earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Honors with a Minor in Business Administration from the University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1995. Following receipt of her undergraduate degree, Lehtinen was employed in Seoul, South Korea as an English teacher, and traveled extensively throughout Southeast Asia. Lehtinen obtained her Juris Doctorate, from California Western School of Law in 2001. Ms. Lehtinen was admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Nevada in 2002.
