The Maxon Floorplanner is a simple drawing tool that lets you see what office cubicles and desks will fit in an office space. Used in conjunction with Maxon Furniture's online Estimator, it makes budgeting for an office furniture purchase easier than ever.
Renton, WA (PRWEB) November 21, 2008 -- Maxon Furniture Inc. has introduced an online floorplanner to compliment its offering of online planning and design tools for office cubicles. The Floorplanner makes it easy to see how many office cubicles, reception stations, or desks will fit into your office space. "Our customers have been asking for this capability to plan their purchase," reports Bill Duncan, Maxon's Lead Coordinator. "Until now, only a professional space planner could provide this information. The Floorplanner even offers a three-dimensional view of the prospective office layout, allowing prospective office furniture purchasers to visualize their new office and budget accordingly."
The Floorplanner guides the user through two simple steps for creating an office floorplan. First, the user sets the shape and dimensions of the office space. Pre-defined shapes and easy drag-and-drop walls make this a snap. Users even have the option of adding doors and windows to more accurately simulate their actual office. Then, they select from the library of "typical" cubicle systems, modular desks, and chairs to add office furniture. Unlike some programs that feature individual parts and pieces, the typicals here represent the actual finished work stations. Tools allow the user to rotate the work stations and duplicate as many as needed to fit their space.
The Floorplanner shows a complete list of selected work stations that can be used for creating an estimate with the Maxon Estimator tool also featured on the Maxon website. Floor plans can be saved for future use and even e-mailed to associates and superiors directly from the Floorplanner program.
Maxon makes buying office furniture easy by giving users the tools they need to plan and budget for a project before contacting a dealer. Maxon dealers and professional spaceplanners can then assist them with assessments, measurements, and the creation of detailed spaceplans that meets the aesthetic, budgetary, and ergonomic needs of the organization. A Maxon Dealer always provides competitive pricing for its made-to-order systems furniture.
