UBIC North America Announces the Appointment of a New President

UBIC appoints David Orgill as new President and CEO of US subsidiary, UBIC North America, Inc.

Tokyo, Japan (PRWEB) June 16, 2010 – UBIC, Inc. the leading provider of Asian eDiscovery and computer forensic services, has announced the appointment of David Orgill as President and CEO of its wholly owned subsidiary, UBIC North America, Inc. effective June 15, 2010.

Mr. Orgill succeeds Naritomo Ikeue who will continue serving on the Board of Directors for UBIC North America and as Executive Vice President of UBIC, Inc. In addition, Sam Ishii has been appointed to the Board of Directors for UBIC North America, Inc.

In recent developments UBIC has incorporated over seven years of experience as the premier provider of Asian eDiscovery and computer forensic services to develop the
Lit i View system for accurately managing complex multi-lingual data sets commonly found in international litigation cases.

Mr. Orgill’s responsibilities will include overseeing the marketing, sales and implementation of the new Lit i View system as it is rolled out in the North American market.

Before joining UBIC, Mr. Orgill was President and CEO of Litrex Corporation, the global leader in high-precision ink-jet printers for printed electronics and displays. Previous to Litrex, Mr. Orgill was a co-founder and CFO at a venture-funded start-up with thin-film deposition technology products. Much of his early career was spent at Applied Materials, Inc. in progressive roles of management responsibility in Product Management, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, in both the U.S. and Japan. Mr. Orgill started his career in disk drive manufacturing and supply-chain management at IBM Corporation. Mr. Orgill has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a M.S. in Management from M.I.T.'s Sloan School of Management.

Sam Ishii is President and CEO of IIOSS K.K, a Japanese management consulting company specializing in organizational transformation. He has held various management positions at Applied Materials, Inc. including Group Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing in charge of all regional operations including the US, Asia and Europe, Deputy CFO (2000-2004) and Group Vice President of Global Human Resources, covering 12,000 employees including Applied Materials Global University (1996-2000).

Prior to joining Applied Materials, Inc. Mr. Ishii started his carrier at Peat, Marwick, Mitchell, & Co. in 1976 and held roles of management responsibility in Gulf Western, Inc. Mr. Ishii has also served as a member of the advisory committee at Japan Development Bank (1996-1997), a board member at Hakone Foundation (2005-2006) and Chairman of the Board at Hokubei News Paper (2004-2006). He has a B.B.A. in General Accounting from Pace University and a CPA (Certified Public Accountant) from the state of New York.
