Chicago-Area Business Owner Liz Calhoun Joins ATHENAPowerLink� Advisory Panel

Will Mentor Local Women Entrepreneurs On Ways to Grow Their Business

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) May 6, 2010 -- Liz Calhoun, founder and president of Signuum – a human capital management consulting firm, was named to the ATHENAPowerLink Advisory Panel in Chicago. Advisors are hand-picked from seasoned entrepreneurs and top-notch professionals in the areas of human resources, operations, equity financing, strategy, sale, marketing and accounting. Calhoun will serve on a 12-month panel and provide expertise at no charge to program participants.

The ATHENAPowerLink program creates leadership and mentoring opportunities for women business owners. According to the nonprofit organization Count Me In, Inc., women represent nearly half of all privately-held firms nationwide yet only three percent of them have surpassed $1 million in annual revenues. ATHENAPowerLink advisors mentor program participants on ways to accelerate their business growth and profitability.
