As part of the relief effort the Obama Administration has granted a special Temporary Protected Status for Haitians in this country to extend their visas for up to 18 months. It is estimated that between 30,000 and 60,000 people in South Florida qualify for this visa, yet many will not be able to afford the high cost of an attorney.

The deadline to apply is July 20, 2010. If eligible, the law firm of Wesley J.
