Don’t Press Your Luck—Get a Safe Ride Home on St. Patrick’s Day

Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin Hosts St. Paddy’s Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home Program in Terre Haute, Indiana

Terre Haute, Ind. (Vocus/PRWEB ) March 10, 2010 -- Everyone’s Irish on St. Patrick’s Day, so expect to find plenty of St. Patrick’s Day revelers in Terre Haute come March 17. And for those overindulgent green beer imbibers, local law office Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin will be providing its Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program for those who have been drinking or who don’t have a safe way to get home.

The Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program provides a safe transportation alternative.

“We want everyone to have fun and get home safely, so if you plan to drink on St. Patrick’s Day, don’t drive,” said attorney Steve Fleschner, Co-Founder of Fleschner, Stark, Tanoos & Newlin. “A simple phone call is all it takes to get a free ride home.”

No Gold or Green Needed for a Safe Ride Home
Teaming up with Yellow Cab of Terre Haute, the firm is providing rides from a bar or restaurant to an individual’s residence in Terre Haute or West Terre Haute—not to other drinking locations.

The Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program will be available from 3 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17 through 3 a.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010. To request a free cab ride home, call Yellow Cab of Terre Haute at (812) 478-5000 and tell them Fleschner Law is paying for their safe ride home.

Due to the high number of requests on St. Patrick’s Day, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate everyone who requests a ride home. Drivers have the right to use their discretion when accepting fares.

Safe and Sober Free Ride Home Program
Launched on New Year’s Eve 2008, the Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program provides a safe transportation alternative during many of the traditionally high alcohol consumption holidays. Cab rides are made available on New Year’s Eve, St. Patrick’s Day, and Halloween to area residents who otherwise might attempt to drive home after drinking. Rides are provided to an individual’s residence—not to other drinking locations.
