The New York State Brownfield Coalition
The New York State Brownfield Coalition (NYSBC) was formed as an unincorporated entity in January 2010. NYSBC is a member driven organization focused on promoting the cleanup and re-use of contaminated properties across New York State.

In support of that overarching goal, the NYSBC will work to: promote the clean-up and re-use of contaminated properties across New York State; encourage a working partnership between the State, local governments and private enterprise that facilitates reuse and redevelopment of environmentally impaired properties; educate citizens, institutions and practitioners about methods to enhance the redevelopment process subject to a structured set of rules; and focus the resources and energies of the NYSBC on the primary mission and goals of the organization in a way that makes membership affordable and valuable.
