New York, NY (PRWEB) February 13, 2010 -- Jocelyn Nager, Esq. President of Frank, Frank, Goldstein & Nager PC, a certified WBE company is to receive the Dena Coye Women’s Entrepreneurship Award for 2009, presented by the National Minority Business Council (NMBC).
The award will be presented to Ms. Nager at NMBC’s 30th Annual Awards Luncheon, February 25, 2009 at the New York Marriott Marquis. This year is the introduction of the Dena Cove Outstanding Woman Entrepreneurship Award in memory of Dena Coye, founder of Dena Coye Productions, who passed away in 2007.
This year’s Luncheon Chair is Kurt Woetzel, Head of Bank Operations and Technology for The Bank of New York Mellon and Mistress of Ceremonies for the 30th Anniversary Luncheon is Renee Brown, president of the construction management firm, C.W. Brown, Inc.
The National Minority Business Council, Inc. (NMBC), a not-for-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation, was founded in 1972. The primary purpose of the organization is to enhance the success and profitability of the small business community through the provision of high-quality services, programs, advocacy and networking support. The secondary purpose is to act as an information clearinghouse for the women- and minority-owned business enterprise (MWBE) community.
Jocelyn Nager, President of Frank, Frank, Goldstein & Nager PC furthered her career 20 years ago at the firm as an associate. Today, as leader of a rapidly growing law firm devoted to debt collection, serving both major corporations and premier legal and accounting firms, and mother of two young children, she exemplifies the role of a leader and woman entrepreneur.
Along with her responsibilities of managing and growing her firm and raising two children, she also fulfills her personal commitment to helping others with her work on a steering committee at WPEO (Women President’s Education Organization), as an active member in NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), board member of EANYC (Executive Association of New York City) and participation in industry associations ISM (Institute for Supply Management) and IACC (International Association Commercial Collections).
