Primerus Makes News for Setting the Bar High

Primerus is featured on the front page of GR Legal News and is touted for its commitment to excellence.

Bailey, MI (PRWEB) January 18, 2010 -- After finishing 2009 with unprecedented growth, the International Society of Primerus Law Firms (Primerus) is now being called innovative, timely and ethically sound. Primerus (http://www.primerus.com/news/category/member_news/) was recently highlighted on the front page of GR Legal News, a weekly publication with sizeable distribution to the Grand Rapids legal community. In the article, Primerus was touted for its commitment to high standards.

The write-up, featured in the January 13 edition of GR Legal News, gave an informative look into the history of Primerus. According to the article, founder, John C. "Jack" Buchanan, sought to create an organization that would both assist attorneys, and provide the consumer with a reliable and trustworthy tool by which to gauge law firms and their attorneys.

The piece, written by Cynthia Price, went on to explain the qualifications a firm must possess, as well as the comprehensive application process of applying for membership (http://www.primerus.com/prospective_members.htm) into Primerus. The article also described the high standards that member firms are required to uphold throughout their membership. In regards to the recent growth and notability that Primerus has been experiencing, Buchanan says, “It’s an exciting time at Primerus. We’re growing, and it’s being noticed. We provide a quality product to our members, and our member firms provide quality to their clients. It’s a standard of practice that’s working.”

Primerus is an international alliance of small and medium sized, top-rated, independent firms. With approximately 140 member law firms (http://www.primerus.com/find_law_firm.htm) located in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and the U.K., Primerus firms provide clients with responsive, high quality, partner-level service for much less than what large law firms charge. All Primerus law firms are: AV- rated using the Martindale-Hubbell peer review service; screened for excellence; audited annually for continued quality; and committed to excellence in six key areas--integrity, reasonable fees, continuing education, civility, community service and excellent work product.
