TrakSoft LLC Announces the Release of Contract Analyst, Version 4.0, a Contract Management System, which Includes a Powerful E-Mail Alert Upgrade

TrakSoft LLC, a 19-year professional software development firm, announced the major upgrade release of Contract Analyst, an innovative and full-featured Contract Management System that includes a powerful enhancement to the E-Mail Alert System.

Rockledge, FL (PRWEB) October 19, 2009 -- TrakSoft LLC, a 19-year professional software development firm, announced the major upgrade release of Contract Analyst, an innovative and full-featured Contract Management System that includes a powerful enhancement to the E-Mail Alert System.

"Once again, our developers outdid themselves with this new release," said Gary Harris, Director and Chief Developer. "With the new enhanced E-Mail Alert capabilities, users can now set customized e-mail alerts on virtually any field within Contract Analyst. This combined with the tickler system will make it virtually impossible to miss an important deadline or milestone."

One of the main enhancements in the new version is a greatly improved E-Mail Alert System. This new version includes the capability to set user-customized e-mail alerts on just about any field throughout the system. These alerts can be set on any type of field, to include date fields, status fields, drop down list fields, monetary fields, and even text fields. In addition, the scope of the alerts can be set to an individual record, or to a group of records.

"One powerful new capability in Contract Analyst is the capability to create message groups," said Kimberly Phillips, Owner of Data Radiance. "This provides users the ability to create a selectable message group of two or more individuals that need to be added to e-mail alerts often. This will allow users to not have to enter in the name and e-mail address of an alert recipient each and every time an alert is set. They simply select the message group."

E-Mail alerts can be set for a wide variety of trigger actions. For example, an e-mail alert can be sent when any change is made to a record or when someone that is not designated the record owner changes a record. An e-mail alert can be sent when a new record is created or a record is deleted. The real power is in the user-defined custom actions. A custom action is a trigger set on a specific field in the system that sends an e-mail alert when a condition has been met. For example, an e-mail alert can be set to be sent on a certain date, a specified number of days before a certain date, or a specified number of days after a certain date. An e-mail alert can be sent when a status of a record changes to a specific status. A custom e-mail alert can be sent when the sum of amounts for a record reaches a certain amount. These are only a small fraction of the various types of customized e-mail alerts that can be set in Contract Analyst.

"Contract Analyst is one of the most flexible contract management systems on the market today," said Paul Gronka, Senior Developer. "This is evidenced by its growing usage in over 12 different industries with clients throughout the United States and in seven different countries. Contract Analyst provides for an unprecedented level of user customization to include renaming, moving and hiding data fields, making fields mandatory or read only, adding new fields and windows, and the ability to modify the over 260 drop down list fields within the system."

The new version contains several other enhancements in addition to the new e-mail alert system. Logic throughout Contract Analyst has been greatly enhanced. This provides added capabilities in the audit trail, built in ad hoc report writer, and user-defined customization. There are plans to release two minor upgrade versions within the next six months that will include additional enhancements.

"Creating and running reports within Contract Analyst is powerful and simple," said Paul Buck, Senior Developer. "In addition to the reports that are built into the system, all versions come with a built in ad hoc report writer. If the data is in the system, you can create a report for it. In addition, all reports can be exported to several different formats, to include Adobe PDF, word processor, and spreadsheet formats."

An organization can derive many benefits from the use of Contract Analyst, such as getting and maintaining control of contracts, streamlining and simplifying contract management processes, identifying and reducing contract risks, and improving the accuracy of contract information and reporting. The flexibility built into Contract Analyst allows for implementing the system around organizational processes and procedures rather than restructuring the organization to work with the program. The database is open providing for the capability to easily link to other systems; it supports five different enterprise database servers.

"In version 2 we added a built in Ad Hoc Report Writer; in version 3 total User Customization; and in version 4 a powerful E-Mail Alert System," said Gary Harris, Director and Chief Developer. "This combined with a full year of unmatched client support and realistic site license pricing (instead of the usual 'per-user' or 'per-module' pricing) all in an intuitive, flexible, and comprehensive Contracts Management System makes Contract Analyst a top contender on the market."
