McDivitt Law Firm is partnering with Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs to provide free transportation to those who can't drive or feel they don't have a safe way home.

"We want everyone to enjoy themselves on Halloween, so let us help you plan ahead and make responsible decisions," Colorado personal injury attorney Mike McDivitt said. "By taking a few extra precautions, everyone can have a safe and fun evening."

Need a Ride? Here's How:

The Safe and Sober Free Cab Ride Home program will be available in Colorado Springs from 10 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, through 3 a.m. on Sunday, November 1, 2009.

To request a free cab ride home within Colorado Springs city limits, call Yellow Cab of Colorado Springs at (719) 777-7777 and tell them the ride is on McDivitt Law Firm.

Rides are provided from a bar or restaurant to an individual's residence--not to other drinking locations. Due to the high number of ride requests on Halloween, rides cannot be guaranteed for everyone who calls; however, every attempt will be made to accommodate all requests. For the safety of all cab drivers, patrons are asked to remove any masks or facial coverings while riding in cabs. Drivers have the right to use their discretion when accepting fares.

About Safe and Sober

All too often, the professionals at McDivitt Law Firm work with clients who are suffering after losing a loved one in an alcohol-related automobile crash. To assist in the fight against drunk driving, McDivitt Law Firm encourages individuals to make responsible choices by providing a safe transportation alternative during many of the traditionally high alcohol consumption holidays. The program is available during St. Patrick's Day, Cinco de Mayo, Halloween, and New Year's Eve.

McDivitt Law Firm has provided more than 2,000 safe rides home since its first Safe and Sober program on New Year's Eve 2007.
